BAD24 PDP & BAD22 Applied Practice Update

Blog Reflections
Reflection on learning activities for this week began by looking at fellow comrades’ blogs. I have reflected that my blog needs some changes to make it at least readable.  The change in font size & shape might help but the contents depend on me!
PDP learning activity:-
·      Who-Identity of at least 3 internationally significant  practitioners in each pathway
·      What- forms does their work take what is their approach to practice
·      What-forms does their work take what is their approach to practice
·      Where- Do they practice & how
·      Why- Are they and their work significant
PowerPoint information files downloaded from Moodle.  After reading I organised 3 separate computer files of: -
  • Applied Craft
  • Visual Communication
  • Contemporary Art Practice
I researched past sketchbooks scrapbooks for inspirational artists leading to a very messy room! The sketchbooks you want are always at the bottom of the box.
A large quantity of research work to answer all the task questions.  The task difficulties will be finding artists out with craft pathway and finding internationally significant practitioners.
The most important thing that I have learned is to refer more to my old sketchbooks for inspiration and seek out my fellow course comrades from different pathway courses!
Applied Practice Learning Activity:-
