Studio Practice 2
Sorry for the delay in
this week’s publishing. A technical
hitch with the computer programme word
disappearing into the unknown has been resolved.
Course Tutors agree
the date for mid module submission. I
will amend the time plan.
Sample Development Ideas
Experimentation - QR
The memories of the photographic
family portrait were digitally recorded. The download of the digital recording onto the
computer encountered technical difficulties.
Lets just say I have to digitally record the entire process again. The spider tries, tries and tries again.

Sample Development - Analysis and Evaluation
Thinking of the PLP
aims to create mixed media textile piece that reflect the themes of personal identity through memory. I recognise the essential principles
and elements of good composition will be needed in the process of
design.
I have made use of photographic family ablum. Black and white imagery layered in a
Photomontage composition communicate an abstract
style.
The photomontage
composition isolated clothing to communicate a sense of self and place. The memory of emotional experiences at events
transferred to clothing worn at the time.
The Photomontage
composition required development of style, dynamic focus , shape, images
and colour. I developed the Photomontage
composition by isolation of individual photograph to give a dynamic focus .
Action Plan
The black and white Compositon
progression to colour.
