Week 12 -A Game of 2 halves
Studio Practice1- 2nd half of module begins with Initial mind plan for ideas and concepts for theme “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. Quickly followed by trip to the library for to get the story book” The Emperor’s New Clothes”.  This focused initial research of ideas and concepts and directed primary sourcing via Art Gallery.
The Module requires A Draft Personal learning Plan (PLP) and detailed Time plan for the project submitted in week 13 (25.11.13).
The Previous brief HIV Alive and Well competition winners announced and congratulation is send to them and all the students work.
The feedback for the “HIV alive and Well” Project given by tutor will be useful for the 2nd half of the module.
PDP
The Tutor positive feedback for the Creative Future Personal Graduation Plan Report will only need a few changes.
The examples of previous PowerPoint presentation of personal promotion highlighted the level required for module success.
The 2nd task of the personal promotion continues with exploring the joys of setting up a web page .  This process will require time.  Where is a time lord when you need them?
Critical & Contextual Studies
The recycling essay writing has begun.
The presentation workshop is the next step in this module.  An example of a Petcha Kutcha PowerPoint Presentation sets up the standard I will need to achieve.
The question of what is a Petcha Kutcha Powerpower asked by yours truly. The answer is a Power Point with 20 slides with uniformed timings set for 2o seconds.
A fellow student kindly suggested looking at Internet tutorials that explain the process.  Please accept my thanks for your helpful suggestion.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGVCKCn6jBc
After Internet viewing I am more confident to proceed with the content of the slides.
